We’re thrilled to share that all 10 containers arrived safely in Ashgabat on 27 March 2026.
Originally, we planned to ship via Iran and then by truck.
But due to the unstable political situation and safety risks, quickly changed to direct railway service.
It cost a bit more, but it was much faster and far safer.
In the end, the cargo reached our client smoothly, with no extra charges, no delays, and no worries within 20 days transit time
It was such a relief and exciting moment for both sides.
To help anyone shipping to Turkmenistan avoid trouble, here are some key points we’ve learned from experience:
-Prepare all documents and confirm the arrival station at least 10 days in advance, for customs and railway scheduling.
-Use secure lashing for special cargo — railway rules are very strict, especially for machinery and heavy goods.
-Most important: Destination station must send a telegram with the correct route to China before the cargo reaches the border. Without it, containers cannot cross and heavy daily fees will apply.
-Provide correct invoice and packing list all the way to the destination for customs clearance. We can also help with blind documents for cross-trade shipments.
-Prepare 8 standard loading photos as required; otherwise, the container will not be accepted at the railway terminal.
-Offer daily GPS tracking so clients always know where their cargo is.
