Chiltern Air Freight Ltd Complete Importation of a WW2 C47
Chiltern Air Freight Ltd have just completed the importation of a WW2 C47, by sea, from Florida.
The aircraft, which completed 2 missions on D day 1944, had the two major components on Ro-Ro and the remaining in 3 x 40ft containers.
The plan is to have it rebuilt at Coventry over the next 2 years so it can fly to France again on D day 75 in 2019.
