Fischer & Rechsteiner Expand Range of Services in Brazil
Brazilian based forwarder Fischer & Rechsteiner recently enlarged business thanks to a JV with a local logistic operator. This means F&R can now directly offer their clients and agents a full range of services based on a door-door idea – something new for the local Brazilian market as they are used to splitting the job amongst different providers – which means they do not offer only international ocean and air freights but also customs brokerage, warehousing & logistics and domestic transportation.
Moreover, from September F&R brand will appear at the new following locations: Itajaì (Santa Catarina State), Santos, Guarulhos airport, Viracopos airport, Indaiatuba, Sumaré and Rio Claro, besides the already existing main office in Jundiaì and sales office in Sao Paulo.

Before becoming our forwarding network member, prospect applicants are required to provide references of other international freight forwarding agents who they’ve worked with over time. We check these shipping references for financial ability, operational capability, mutual sales development & follow up, and communication skills (both in ability as well as response time) as well as other pertinent information. Only companies who pass this process can be offered membership in our group.
