Flowfreight BV works with other AON member to move a big Melt Pump Gearbox from Switzerland via Antwerp port to Houston, TX
They partnered with Seiler Logistics AG – other AON member also based in Seiler, Switzerland – to have 15,660-kilogram weight of object palletized and crated. The unit was then moved by a truck to the port of Antwerp. Upon arrival in Antwerp they loaded the crate onto the flat rack OOG and shipped it to Houston in Texas for their customer.
The challenge for this shipment was having to arrange the whole process within a week, so time pressure was there.
