Ans Cargo Handle Absorbing Tower Project With Great Success

Ans Cargo recently handled a project consisting of cargo of an absorbing tower. The final absorbing tower had measurements of 22.5 metres in length, 6.25 meters in width and 6.25 meters in height, weighing 44,000 kg. The cargo was collected from the customers factory located in Gebze, Kocaeli by a special lowbed trailer and delivered to Safi Port International. There were also 2 regular trucks for additional accessories.

The transport took 2 days in total, spanning an overall distance of 42 km. The regular roads were not appropriate to transport the cargo as the route went directly over the mountain and through the village roads.

In some parts of the area, electricity cables were being cut and other roads were closed off. Eventually, after a succesful journey the tower was loaded onto the vessel for its final destination to Finland. The lashing and securing operation on board the vessel was also handled by Ans Cargo.
