Element Int’l Forwarding & Logistics Ltd. Ships Press Machines to Russia

< 1 min read

Element International Forwarding & Logistics Ltd. has been requested to ship press machinery from Istanbul factory to the Mtsensk factory. The project scope included pre-carriage from Istanbul to Ambarlı Port, then sea transportation from Ambarlı up to Azov Port. Finally, on-carriage from Azov port to Mtsensk, Russia. There were a total of four units; two units with dimensions of 5,290 x 4,180 x 2,200 mm, weighing at 64,000 kgs; the other two units 4,710 mm x 3,437 mm x 19,95 mm, weighing at 29,000 kgs.

These units had to be moved by sea transportation due to dimension restrictions on a planned overland route. As the items could not be unloaded from the vessel by the vessel cranes at the destination port, we arranged 2 special cranes for unloading. As the items were out of gauge, escorts were arranged for Variomax Lowbed for delivery to the clients site. All cargoes were delivered on time and in safe conditions.
