SAI Freight Solution SDN BHD joins the Selangor Freight Forwarders & Logistics Association (SFFLA) as an ordinary member

The State of Selangor host the premier gateway to Malaysia’s economy i.e., Port Klang. As an association that groups the majority of logistics players in this state, Selangor Freight Forwarders and Logistics Association inevitably will be the main driver for the development of the logistics industry chain nationally. It also becomes SFFLA’s responsibility to champion the causes and problems plaguing the industry that requires resolution.  Through its many trials and tribulations, SFFLA has emerged stronger and more cohesive in sitting a direction for others to follow.

As the catalyst for the logistics industry, SFFLA always look for the means and ways to heighten the awareness of global players to the availability of global players to the availability of services at this gateway. By promoting our members aggressively, SFFLA hope that the effect will result in a wave of logistics activities to provide more business opportunities for their local players and costs savings for the global players. It is a win-win situation that should be promoted tirelessly. To this end, SFFLA took the initiative to come up with a handbook to give all interested global logistics players access to local parties which they wish to co-operate with. By providing a detailed compilation of our members, a wide range of choice partners are made available to interested parties in an instant.

The work does not stop here. Thorough input and feedback from the various sectors in the logistics chain. SFFLA also act as bridge to various parties both as a facilitator and mediator in any dispute that may arise. By creating more conducive environment it is SFFLA’s hope that instead of wasting time on disputes, the time will be better spent to achieve a higher level of productivity and in turn, higher return on investments (ROI).

The road ahead is long and hard. There are still many more rough edges that need to be smoothened out. The industry is still evolving and SFFLA is at the centre of it, literally speaking. It is hoped that with some of the best industry captains leading it, SFFLA will move ahead and pull along the rest of the members of the associations specifically and the other logistics players in general.
